Battlegrounds Mobile India – PUBG Mobile’s local avatar – received a client patch on Saturday to address some of the known issues. The update fixes a bug that caused the Battle Royale game to get stuck on the loading screen when the player was wearing unicorn set outfits. There is also a solution to the issue where Battlegrounds Mobile India has shut down on some devices. Developer Krafton released the patch just days after reporting the problems online. However, some of the known issues remain to be addressed.
Krafton posted the release notes for the client patch through the Battlegrounds Mobile India site. According to the notes, the update fixes the issue that caused the game to get stuck on the loading screen while wearing Unicorn Set outfits. It was first reported last week.
The latest client patch also fixes the issue where the game would shut down when accessing the season menu (C1S1) on some devices. There is also a solution to the issue that resulted in players not being shot while driving a buggy vehicle in mission ignition mode. In addition, the patch fixes the issue where the sound of other players’ Tesla vehicles was reduced.
Battlegrounds Mobile India received the patch via a server-side update. That means you don’t have to download a new version from the Google Play Store. However, the patch will be applied as soon as you restart the game.
While the latest patch addresses a number of known issues, there are still a few that need to be addressed. For example, Krafton mentioned on their website that in some cases, users still cannot claim UC in-game currency and received an error message stating that UC will not be intermittently claimed after purchase. It appears when the affected users try to buy the UC from the game.
Also, some users cannot claim rewards from the Daily Special Bundle. Likewise, in some cases, if a user accesses a supply medal that has been claimed by the box of advanced supplies, the game will turn to the wrong page in some cases.
Krafton advised all of these users to reach out to the development team by going through settings > basic > Customer service out of the game.
Battlegrounds Mobile India debuted as the Indian version of PUBG Mobile earlier this month and received its first content update last week. This update brought features such as Mission Ignition mode and access to the Tesla Gigafactory. However, it also introduced the issues that the company addresses through its patches.
It’s important to note that Krafton himself has claimed that Battlegrounds Mobile India passed the 34 million-player mark in the first week after it was launched. This suggests that the issues can have a major impact and therefore require quick fixes.
