Call of Duty: Back Ops Cold War offers its players the opportunity to try out its multiplayer and zombies mode for a total of eight days for free. Free access will be available to players on multiple platforms. However, during the free trial, users will not be able to play the single player campaign mode. Developer Activision has also mentioned that users who play the game for the first time will be able to resume their progression from the free trial mode after it ends.
The new free trial mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War starts on July 22nd and ends on July 29th for console players on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One. Players can only access multiplayer mode and zombies mode during the free trial period. Access to the free trial will be available after the release of the fourth season of the game. Warzone players will also be able to continue their weapons and advancement on a global scale.
In multiplayer mode, players can access NukeJacked, Party Games, Paintball Moshpit and more around the clock. The NukeJacked 24/7 playlist includes the Nuketown ’84 and Hijacked cards. Players also have access to the 12v12 mosh pit and the 40-player multiteam mosh pit with Team Deathmatch. It also includes Rush, a 6v6 card that “takes place in and around a speedball course”.
One of the most popular modes in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is the Zombies mode. It contains the recently released Wall of the Dead map, as well as The Machine and Firebase Z maps. The Wall of the Dead map is set in Berlin and is the next chapter in Dark Aether history. The last two cards are the basis for the Dark Aether story.
There is also an exclusive PlayStation mode as players can access Onslaught mode. It includes “a two-person team fighting zombies on multiplayer maps”.
Finally, players can purchase the game from July 21st to August 4th at a 50 percent discount on PlayStation. Xbox players can take advantage of the discount from July 23rd to August 5th.
